'Get Your Pink Back - on Blue 4'
From my ‘Get Your Pink Back’ collection.
This collection is inspired by the fact that flamingos can loose their pink colouring while they feed and raise their young. The parents gain this colour back as their young become more independent. I believe many of us parents can identify with this. It's easy to forget ourselves and our own interests as a busy parent but as our kids grow up we need to remember who we are and what we love to do, just for us.
My return to painting has helped me get my pink back! And I’m a happier, better Mum for it!
